Episode 06 - Haunted House
No one in their right mind would roll up into a haunted house without their BFF at their side. In this episode, the Comadres take drastically different approaches to ensure that they make it out unscathed. Susie relies on the imposing presence of a sassy older friend, Abril brings in the experts to protect her from physical, spiritual, and psychological harm, and Allisantos calls up the one and only BFF who can get them in and out in on with it. BFF love is unconditional, even when our BFFs are straight up villains. In this episode, the Comadres discuss the misunderstood villains they love - terrible reputations and all. Abril delves into the heartbreaking motivation behind her BFF's destructive ways, Susie sticks up for an unsung leader of the Social Justice Movement, and Allisantos reflects on how a little bit of tough love might have spared an entire kingdom 10 years worth of trouble. Episode 03 - Solo Dolo
For solo artists, it can be lonely at the top of the music charts, but the Comadres' BFFs have nothing to worry about. Susie sets up wine-and-yoga-pants karaoke nights, Allisantos goes incognito with the ultimate come-back kid, and Abril has had her BFF's back for a solid 20 years. In this high-stakes scenario, the Comadres must decide which BFF they would call to lead a rescue mission and extract them from a hostage situation. Abril dials up an old friend from her high school days, Allisantos forgoes their cell phone in favor of a fairy messenger, and Susie blows the premise wide open by assembling a full-blown Task Force.
